It is designed to protect small dogs against fleas, ticks, heartworm disease, and intestinal parasites, providing comprehensive coverage in a single dose. The combination of three active ingredients; sarolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel work together to provide fast-acting and long-lasting protection. Sarolaner, the first active ingredient, kills fleas and ticks within hours of administration. Moxidectin and pyrantel, the second and third active ingredient, target gastrointestinal worms such as roundworms and hookworms and also protect against heartworm disease.

Sarolaner, Moxidectin, and Pyrantel are the three active components that make up Simparica Trio. The first component, Sarolaner, aids in the flea and tick eradication process while moxidectin and pyrantel prevent heartworm disease and treats and controls roundworms and hookworms in dogs starting at the age of 8 weeks and weighing 2.8 pounds of body weight.

does the simparica trio prevent tape worms I accidently ordered the wrong dosage size of Simperica Trio. What are my options? Thank you. How do we know its not a knock-off drug. Pretty inexpensive.
