The kitty might be in heat

The other symptoms are that she will be super-affectionate towards you and when you pet near her tail she will depict a sway backed position.
Suffering from hyperthyroidism
It typically occurs in older cats and the she may depict the following symptoms: excessive meowing, weight loss despite eating well, excessive activity. If you find any of these symptoms immediately rush to your vet for complete body check up and blood test.
Vision loss or hearing impairment
A feline who is partially deaf or blind will not be able to move around the house comfortably as hence, she meows incessantly as she feels completely lost without complete vision and hearing capability.
Cognitive dysfunction in cats can result in serious problems in cats while might leave her completely scared and disoriented. The only reaction she will give is meow and howl. Other symptoms include: irritability, sleeping more or altered sleep cycle, coordination loss and in worst cases incontinence.
Feline hyperesthesia syndrome
A cat suffering from this condition goes crazy as if she is hallucinating. She may cry loudly with strange mood swings. Her skin will ripple as if even air hurts her. She might start to groom herself crazily resulting in hair loss.
Suffering from pain
Cats are good at hiding pain, but in extreme situations they will divert your attention through excessive meowing. So if your kitty suddenly starts meowing without interruption check whether she is suffering from any physical injury. If that is not the case, rush to your veterinarian immediately.
Boredom or loneliness
Cats that are very close to their owners sometimes are susceptible to loneliness or boredom. This kind of meowing commences when you go to your bed and continues till you divert your attention to your feline.
