How does Frontline Plus for Dogs work?

Frontline Plus Spot-on contains two key ingredients, fipronil and (S)-methoprene. The solution spreads from the point of application, rapidly covering the entire dog and localizing in the hair, on the surface of the skin, and in the sebaceous glands to kill parasites.

The sebaceous glands act as a reservoir, continuously replenishing the active ingredients onto the skin and hair coat, so it keeps working even if the dog gets wet. Fleas, ticks, and lice are killed when they come in contact with the treated dog. They do not need to bite your dog to die.

What to know before using Frontline Plus for Dogs?

• Dogs need to remain dry for 24 hours after application for the treatment to be water fast.
• Frontline Plus controls flea infestations for up to three months. However, monthly application is recommended where tick control or mange control is required.
