Fasten one collar per dog around the dog’s neck.

I am considering using this collar for my Westie. He weighs about 25 lbs. He does have allergies and that is the only thing that has stopped me. I used this for my last dog that was a Cocker Spaniel and it worked great. So my question could this effect his skin allergies?
