Selehold for Dogs – Selamectin Topical Solution

Selehold Topical Solution for Dogs is an effective broad-spectrum topical treatment designed to protect dogs and puppies aged 6 weeks and older against various internal and external parasites.

Applied topically to the dog’s skin, this fast-acting solution treats flea infestations, ear mites, biting lice, sarcoptic mange, and roundworms while preventing heartworm disease. It also helps prevent flea infestations and can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis.

Selehold is also suitable for pregnant, breeding, and lactating dogs. Keep your canine friend protected from common dog parasites with one simple monthly application of Selehold for Dogs.

How does Selehold work?

Selehold contains selamectin as its key ingredient. Selamectin is a semi-synthetic compound of the avermectin class that works by interfering with chloride channel conductance in parasites, disrupting normal neurotransmission. This inhibits electrical activity, causing paralysis and death of the parasite.

What to know before using Selehold for Dogs?

Selehold is a topical treatment. It should not be administered orally or parenterally.
Keep treated dogs and puppies away from fire or other sources of ignition for at least 30 minutes or until the hair coat is dry.

Directions

Select the right pack of Selehold depending on the dog’s body weight.
Part the fur on the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Open the tube by removing the cap and breaking the seal.
Place the tip of the tube on the visible skin.
Squeeze the tube and empty the entire contents onto the skin.
Do not allow pets to lick the applied area until it is dry.

The largest size we carry for Selehold is 44-88 lbs. If your dog weighs more than 88lbs, you may use a combination of appropriate Selehold doses after consulting with a veterinarian. Also, the largest size of Nexgard we carry is for 60-120 lbs.
