It also treats and controls black-legged ticks, lone star ticks, roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms, while preventing heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis when used regularly every month.

How does NexGard Combo work?

NexGard Combo for Cats is formulated with three powerful active ingredients:

• Eprinomectin: It is a macrocyclic lactone that works internally to prevent heartworm disease and treat intestinal parasites such as roundworms and hookworms by disrupting their nerve transmission.
• Praziquantel: It works against tapeworms by damaging their outer surface, causing the tapeworm to detach from the intestinal wall and be naturally eliminated from the cat’s body.

After topical application, the solution is spread across the skin and absorbed within the body, allowing the active ingredients to target parasites both internally and externally. Each NexGard Combo (5.6-16.5 lbs) applicator delivers 10.8 mg Esafoxolaner, 3.6 mg Eprinomectin, and 74.7 mg Praziquantel for effective parasite control.
