How does CredelioPlus for Dogs work?
Credelio Plus by Elanco contains lotilaner and milbemycin oxime as its active ingredients.
Lotilaner is an ectoparasiticide that works by targeting the nervous system of fleas and ticks. It blocks specific receptors responsible for nerve signal transmission. This causes uncontrolled nerve activity in the parasites, leading to paralysis and death.
Milbemycin oxime helps prevent heartworm disease and treats and controls various intestinal worms. Together, these ingredients provide comprehensive protection against multiple internal and external parasites.
